Who we are

Riëtte Oosthuizen Attorneys were established in 2000. The firms’ objective is to help South Africans deal with all matters pertaining to Family Law and Personal Injury Law. This website pertains only to Family Law matters. We pride ourselves on being experienced and respected litigators and negotiators and represent clients across a broad spectrum of industries and professions. As a result, we have expertise in negotiating and litigating cases that present sophisticated and specialised financial issues. We further have expertise in representing high profile clients that might require dealing with the media and or taking special care of our clients’ privacy needs.

We are experienced in matters involving children and parental rights and responsibilities, including primary residence issues, parental contact, child abduction and other difficult issues, such as the international relocation of children.

The information provided by our clients is often of a sensitive nature, but our clients are reassured that all information disclosed falls under attorney-client privilege.

Our understanding of the complicated issues our clients face, together with the reputation that precedes us, frequently leads to deftly and efficiently negotiated resolutions.
